SYLE/SLE (Servas Learning Experience)
SYLE/SLE in Israel or any another country is a program of Long Stay hosting, from 2 weeks to 4 weeks, usually involving hosts for weekdays, weekends and day-hosts. The program allows participants to experience daily lives with families, practicing the local language, learning about the culture, communities, agriculture, water and more …
This is a “tailored” program, based on the participant’s interests and wishes, in accordance to the possibilities hosts can offer.

culture and people in Israel.

I had a very special time in my Syle trip. Full of spontaneous moments and meaningful encounters.
I crossed France from east to west, meeting lovely people from different backgrounds and lifestyles.
It was so interesting to discover new ways of living – each doorstep felt like entering a whole new world.
Each host invited me into their private life, sharing their favorite places and the little things that make them happy.
I tasted different kinds of food, so many kinds of cheese!
I saw a variety of landscapes and faces.
I learned some new words and had countless conversations on every possible subject.
Luck was always on my side – when I arrived in Annecy, there was an animation film festival, and I got to stay with lovely hosts.
There was also a BIBN festival: bazzar during the day, bizzar during the night, full of surprises.
I'm so grateful to all my hosts for welcoming me and making me feel at home.
