The meeting was at Michael Ben-Abu’s house in Tel Aviv for a Servas get-together meeting. More than 30 Servas members and guest gathered and, celebrated the Jewish New Year.

We gathered, more than 30 Servas members and guests at Michael Ben-Abu’s house in Tel Aviv for a Servas get-together meeting.
The meeting began with a toast, celebrating the Jewish New Year.
The acquaintance exercise, organized by Shosh, using various small things she brought from home, allowed members to introduce themselves, shared what Servas means for them and how they host. Guests were excited and surprised by what they heard.
After an enjoyable hour of meeting friends, getting to know the guests and tasting the delicacies brought by friends, we listened to Michael telling us about his life and art, and then Claudia sharing about Servas in the current technological global world of today.

מפגש “חבר מביא חבר” התקיים בשבת 05/10/2019 בבוקר בביתו של מיכאל בן-אבו בתל אביב.
יותר מ 30 חברי סרווס וחבריהם התאספו בבית מלא מציוריו ושיריו של מיכאל,
מארגנת המפגש, שוש, הביאה דברים קטנים ומזכרות, ששימשו את החברים להציג את עצמם ואת האופן שבו הם מארחים ומה סרווס מסמל עבורם. האורחים שהגיעו לשמוע על סרווס היו מופתעים ונרגשים ממה ששמעו.
בהמשך שמענו את מיכאל מספר על חייו ופועלו ואת קלודיה על ״סרווס לאן״ בעידן הטכנולוגי הגלובלי היום ובעתיד.
כל אחד הביא מטעמים לשולחן המשותף, כמסורת סרווס.
החברים שמחו להיפגש ונפרדנו בהרגשה של רצון להמשיך למפגשים נוספים.
