An unforgettable month in Israel.

Dreams come true with SERVAS

From 13 June to 13 July 2015, our family spent a wonderful time in different parts of Israel with the help of SERVAS. The program of study Hebrew for a month and participation in the daily life of Israeli families was amazing.

Help and support provided by 5 Servas Israeli families (Claudia and Shlomi Sagie, Amir Levi, Orna and Tsur Shuman, Debbie and Natti Zelnik, Avital and Einav Ehre, Tova and Israel Miller, Nirit and Yossi Harel) were really great as they warmly opened their homes and hearts to us.
Hebrew lessons kindly were conducted by Nirit and Tova and I want to thank them for invaluable guidance and constant support. From the very beginning it was very difficult to learn and speak Hebrew, but teachers and ALL wonderful Servas hosts were a source of inspiration for me to study Hebrew.

With our Servas hosts we visited many wonderful places which we could not even dream of ( the Dead sea, Caesarea, Nazareth, Kana of Galelee, Jaffa, etc.) and tried many Israeli traditional dishes (hummus and thina, lentils, spices and herbs etc.).
The most unforgettable memories in our souls will remain with the people who spent the warm, Sunny days with us. We are so grateful to all of you for the invaluable experience that we adopted from you.
