We gathered at “Saba Habib,” at the entrance to Kibbutz Parod. (“Saba” means grandfather)

We were 18 men and a woman and two other children of Iris and Sharon, Rachel and Yakov, who honored us with their presence, despite their affiliation with another area.

Everything went as planned, we ate what we brought, around a long table, and it was delicious! Afterwards we went out to a quiet place in the complex, to get acquainted, and special hostess stories, and there were interesting stories.

Finally, we heard a lecture by Suhil Jahshan, a member of the Saba Haviv family, about the olive and its products.
The only miss, perhaps, was that no Servas member brought any friend interested in joining Servas. There were a number of “fresh members” who actually talked about successful meetings with guests and hosts.
