On Saturday, October 12, 2019, another “Friend brings Friend” Servas meeting was held, very pleasant and successful – this time in Herzliya.

We met about twenty very old, relatively old, relatively new, and friends of friends, curious, interested in joining.

Gabi Barshi, a longtime member of the organization’s founders and the NGO – Servas in Israel, told about the establishment of a Servas in Israel.

Claudia noted changes that have occurred in Servos over the years and with the start of ServasOnline, enumerated activists and contacts and told about the international conference to be held in December in Israel.

In the round of acquaintance, we heard about Servas traveling around the world and hosting in our homes, by those who are already friends.

Friends interested in joining told about themselves, their family, their work, interests and experiences from human encounters on their trips.

We all seemed to have a common interest in getting to know people and places through people, beyond visiting historical sites and well-known nature sites.

Thank you to friends who volunteered for Servas most needed activities – advertising and marketing promotion, the new Servas Israel website, recruiting and youth meetings. We will meet and try to proceed with their ideas.
